In 2019, this beautiful 1968 Tuxedo bungalow, experienced a small fire that led to extensive smoke damage throughout the house. Though the owners decided to move on, the home was kept within the family and became an opportunity for the new owner to transform the house into a very special place of their own. We began the redesign of the main floor in 2020, helping the client downsize into this space, while maintaining some critical spacial needs within the same footprint of the house. The flow from the kitchen, dining and living area was reworked to create a connected, open space and an ensuite was added to create a spa like oasis. The design was inspired by Mid-Century Modern tones, with touches of Scandinavian and Traditional elements. This eclectic design came to together to create a truly unique space! The exterior is currently undergoing a face lift to complete the transformation of this beautiful old home, made new again!
